Mental health is the foundation for emotions, thinking, communication, and building relationships. If mentally an individual is not stable then it not only affects the family of an individual but also the society.  Many people with mental illness do not want to talk about it, and it’s not something to be ashamed of. Anyone can suffer from it regardless of their age and it is treatable like any other illness. Because people do not take it seriously, there are many crimes involving mentally unstable criminals. It is hard for an individual to handle the emotions and thoughts running in the mind in case of mental illness which leads to some horrible incidents. One such incident took place because of mental illness in New York City on Saturday. The Arrest of Transgenders in Tripura

On the 8th of January, Four friends from the LGBT community named Mohini, Sangam, Raj, and Tapas went to a part at the city’s hotel, and on their way back home at around 10:40 pm, they were stopped by a few police officials and a reporter only because they were trans. They were bullied and harassed for their appearance and dressing and later arrested for extorting people with fake identities. The arrest was made without any proof. They were later taken to the West Agartala police station where they were stripped naked in front of male officials to prove their gender. No human is liable to prove their gender to any police officials, this was clearly a violation of human rights as well as the violation of transgender rights. Even though Mohini and her friends repeatedly pled that they belonged to the LGBT community and what they were doing was against the rights of transgenders but the officials didn’t care about it. These officials who are not even aware of human rights are supposed to ...

Suicide Case of Yeggana and her Unborn Child in Telangana

Bulli Bai App: Spread of hate against women

While society is expecting great things from today’s generation, here is what we get, disgust in the name of an application invented purely to spread hate. Using an open-source platform GitHub, around 100 pictures of women were uploaded on the Bulli bai app for auction on January 1st. These images were taken from their social media platforms doctored and auctioned with a tag saying “ Your Bulli Bai of the day is (mentioning the name of the woman) Here we were thinking that people are changing, their mindset is progressing and then incidents such as this take place that shatters any expectations we could have from society. Such objectionable and harsh comments written on the internet about women are unacceptable.  If at all we had taken a step to do something about the similar incident of last year's "Sulli deal'', this wouldn't have happened in the first place. It's a drawback to our society and an irresponsible act on the hands of people responsible for making...
